Gatehouse Arts is a creative hub of 40+ artist studios and a gallery space based across two sites in the heart of Harlow Town. Gatehouse Arts aim to foster creativity, diversity and art excellence through encouraging people’s existing interest in the arts and offering them new creative experiences. Gatehouse Arts has a programme of exciting exhibitions and events throughout the year in the gallery spaces, showcasing new and interesting art works by local artists and groups.

Availability of space: 
Eastgate: 10 studios/Gallery Westgate: 22 studios As part of the redevelopment plan for the Westgate area in Harlow Town Centre, ACAVA (the Association for Cultural Advancement through Visual Art, an educational charity) converted a floor of empty offices and an empty shop unit into 22 studio spaces. In 2 years the studio’s have grown with a further 10 studios and a gallery being developed at Eastgate, creating more affordable work spaces for local emerging artists and opportunities to promote and exhibit the diverse work created by the artistic talent existing in the local art community. Please check the ACAVA website for current available studio’s or to be added to the waiting list
